Job Description

1. Teaching and Curriculum Development.

a. Conducting academic sessions in the assigned courses.

b. Developing and updating course content to reflect current developments in the field.

c. Contributing to curriculum enhancement and development on a regular basis.

d. Utilizing innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance the learning experience.

2. Research & Publications

a. Engaging in active research projects, consultancies and guide other faculty in the area of expertise.

b. Publishing high quality research findings in SCI/Scopus/UGC Care listed journals and conferences.

c. Collaborate with external agencies and forums for research and pursuing external funding for research projects.

d. Collaborating with other faculty members, students, and researchers on research initiatives.

e. Foster innovation by conceiving novel ideas, creating prototypes, securing patents, facilitating product commercialization, and promote startups.

3. Academic Leadership

a. Participating in academic and administrative activities within the School and University.

b. Assisting in the development and implementation of academic policies and programs.

4. Community Engagement

a. Collaborating with industry, government agencies, and other institutions on research and educational initiatives.

b. Participating in outreach activities, such as workshops, seminars, and conferences.

c. Contributing to the university's involvement with social outreach.

d. Promote Industry-Academia interaction.

5. Professional Development

a. Attending conferences, workshops, and seminars to stay updated with current research trends and teaching methodologies.

b. Encouraging a culture of continuous learning among students and colleagues.

6. Student Guidance & Mentoring

a. Advising and mentoring students, including guiding them in research projects.

b. Providing guidance and support to students in academic and career matters.

7. Contributions to University Administration

a. Contributing to the overall growth and development of the University.

b. Participating in activities that enhance the University's reputation and standing.

c. Collaborating with other faculty members, students, and researchers on research initiatives.

Desirable: PhD in Energy or allied areas (energy policy/planning, biofuel. bioenergy, clean energy, international energy management practices, electrical energy systems)
