MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Professor: Ph. D. degree in relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch and a minimum of ten years of Teaching/ Industry/ Research experience of which at least three years should be at the level of Associate Professor at Institute/University of repute. At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor / Co-supervisor till the date or 10 research publications with no Ph.D. guided. The candidate should have demonstrated leadership in research in a specific area of specialization in terms of strong record of publications in reputed journals and refereed conferences, course development and/or other recognized relevant professional activities.

Professor of Practice: Distinguished experts who have made remarkable contributions in the field of Construction, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Project Management (CRIP), Architecture, Engineering and General Management. Those who have proven expertise in their specific profession or role with at least 15 years of service/experience, preferably at a senior level. Faculty members in service or retired aren’t eligible. This position is only for people from Industry.

Associate Professor: Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch and a minimum of eight years of Teaching/ Industry/Research experience, of which at least 2 years shall be post PhD experience. At least total 6 research publications in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals.  The candidate should have demonstrated adequate experience of independent research in terms of publications in reputed journals and refereed conferences, course development and/ or other recognized relevant professional activities.

Assistant Professor Entry Grade: Graduate / Post Graduate in relevant Discipline with First Class or equivalent in any one of the degrees, PhD. is desirable. Candidates with professional experience and Teaching/ Research Aptitude will be preferred.

NOTE: For School of Architecture the norms set by Council of Architecture shall be followed.
